What Is Just Give a Zök?

Just Give a Zök is a program that gives back to the community and leaves the world better than we found it.

As a company, we have partnered with Feeding America, the country’s largest hunger-relief organization, to bring food to the needy. Feeding America reaches roughly 40 million people every year.

In 2021, a record-breaking 152,827 meals were donated! We’re delighted to see the program’s success. We know we couldn’t do it without our entire team pitching in.

Feeding the hungry is just the start!

We also encourage our team members to generously support charities. For instance, we urge our team members to support initiatives such as making purchases through Amazon’s smile.amazon.com program. Through this program, individuals can choose what charities we want to send a donation.

In addition, we ask our team members to purchase meals for heroes in uniform. It’s a small, but meaningful way to show our support and appreciation for the sacrifices they make in serving our communities.

Our team also generously donates their time and talent. Each quarter, we allow our staff time off to participate in volunteer work at the qualified charity of their choice. The Volunteer Time Off program aims to give our staff the chance to contribute directly to causes they champion.

At TalentZök, we are proud to be part of causes much bigger than us. We know that there is much more to do. That’s why we are determined to do our best to help. We understand that giving back to our community means that every little bit we do makes a difference.

How We Just Give a Zök

We figured out how we could combine our expertise with helping others to achieve our goal of leaving the world better than we found it. So, in addition to our normal support, we pledged to donate 25 meals for every job order and 500 meals for every hire to Feeding America during the holidays.

Yes, that’s right.

We encourage our employees and clients to succeed by supporting others on their behalf. We know that we can give back to our community by doing our job as best we can.

If we can be the best at what we do, we can help those who live and work around us. Our efforts lead us to make a difference; a difference we make by staffing our business partners with top-notch talent and helping those in need.

That’s why our efforts aim to reach out to as many organizations as possible. Generally speaking, we partner with our clients to support charities by making a donation for every permanent and temporary worker we place.

Here are some of the charities we are currently supporting and how our TalentZök team can choose to direct contributions based on their staffing success:

Robert Ford Haitian Orphanage

For every employee placed, our team can choose to support an orphan or a student for a month including housing, food, school expenses, uniforms, etc.

Feeding San Diego

For every employee placed, our team can choose to donate up to 1,000 meals to help feed the local hungry.

Helen Woodard Animal Shelter via Chewy

For every employee placed, our team can choose to help feed a shelter dog for up to six months.

CASA of Los Angeles

For every employee placed, our team can choose to pay for volunteer advocates to receive training so that children in the foster care system can have a voice in court, at school and in the community.

Thanks to the tremendous support from our staff and clients, we can make these donations a reality. However, we can’t take the credit for helping these worthy causes. We know it takes a team effort to make a true difference in our local communities.
